Olympic Stadium

​Events: Opening/Closing Ceremony, Athletics Track & Field and start/finish for Marathon and Race Walking.

​Capacity: 60.000 (currently: 22.288)

Plan: Renovation and construction of the 1928 stadium, to meet the current Olympic requirements. Next door sportpark De Schinkel will serve as trainingground for the athletes.

​After the Olympics: Venue for international sportevents and concerts.

Transportation: Bus and tramstops, metrostation Amstelveenseweg. Shuttle-service to the Olympic Village for athletes.
